What is Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger for PPC? This is the retail DVD version of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger for Macs using the PowerPC architecture. (Will not work on Intel Macs). - Here's my attempt at installing OS X Tiger (10.4) on my PowerMac G4 MDD. It failed because of a faulty DVD Drive, then a faulty disc!
- Jan 22, 2012 Is this some sort of bootleg effort to install without the actual OS X Tiger DVD. (I'm assuming it is not, but if it is, follks on these forums generally don't support such efforts.) If you have a working DVD drive or CD drive for your PPC, you can purchase from various private sellers the Tiger install DVD or Tiger install CD's.
