Very likely it is because the main AID (www.aideluxe.com) web site was shut down a long time ago now. There was an AID archive site with some working downloads but I've just tried finding that and it too seems to have disappeared.
Whether the 'VIP Download' option here works I have no idea. With original Xbox stuff it is more than a bit cheeky expecting to pay just to find out.
Anyway if you Google Auto Instaler Deluxe downloads you should easily find a good source for both Full and Lite versions. TBH there is not much difference. The Lite version is just minus some Addon packs and a few other things which will likely be unimportant to most users.
Also look out for HeXEn, 2016 Softmodding Tool Extra Disc and various other Xbox modding toolsets created much more recently and, by some, considered better than AID.
I'm still an AID fan; I recently did my first ever virgin new (SATA) HDD upgrade on a chipped Xbox using an AID 4.53 Lite disc, It worked perfectly, handheld from start to finish in just a few minutes. But if I were a noob I'd be going for one of those others as they're set up by default to be better protected, particularly important for softmods.

The History of Auto-Installer Deluxe The original Auto-Installer Deluxe was made back in December 2004. The main focus at this time was mainly just to build an installer system which could install various Dashboards (unlike Slayers Auto-Installer system which was the most popular at that time, which only gave the choice of one dashboard). As well as the different Dashboards to choose from, there was also an extensive collection of Applications and Emulators added, so that the user could get the full potential from their Xbox. Version 2.0 came out in 2005, which was the introduction of a new system, where the installer disc could be upgraded with various addon and update packs. This system allowed the Auto-Installer Deluxe disc to always stay up-to-date with the latest bugfixes, new Software, Rom packs for Emulators, or anything else that needed to be released for the system. The most recent version (v4.50) was released in April 2009, which basically continued on the work from v1-v3, adding some more features and software along the way. Update packs are released roughly every two months which will ensure that the Auto-Installer Deluxe system is the most up-to-date and the most flexible package available for the Xbox console.
