The game Undertale released by Fox was six years ago. Following this was the release of Deltarune and it has been three years since it got released as a follow-up game. Deltarune originally released with a long chapter 1 for Nintendo Switch and PC users. Many people await further progress regarding the game’s sequel and we have some updates to give out. Deltarune Chapter 2: Release Date
No official date for Deltarune 2 has been confirmed as of yet. There was, however, a recent update from Toby Fox saying that the game’s development began by the mid of 2020 and has been going on a faster pace as compared to the first chapter.
Fox also made sure that there would be a release of the playable version by the end of 2020. Although, this estimate wasn’t made by considering the technicalities of the game which include testing for bugs, final touches, translation, and portability.

Deltarune 2: Gameplay
Chapter 2 for Deltarune will have similar gameplay to that of Chapter 1 Deltarune. It will again showcase battle in turn-wise mode just the way Final Fantasy does. There will be a more enhanced version of visuals showing some bullet hell presentations and the removal of random face-offs. Users will also be able to view the opponents from the other world and have the option to avoid them altogether.
Deltarune 2: Storyline and Chapters
Deltarune 2 will stand very different from Deltarune Chapter 1 and they will be acting separately from each other. That being said, it is very sure that there are still many chapters after Deltarune Chapter 2. Although, it is still not finalized on how many chapters will it really have.
From the September 2020 update by Fox, we get to know that they have a section marked “Progress Chapters3+” which points out that there will obviously be more chapters. The contents under this section hinted that there will be four more chapters with more chapters to be welcomed ahead.
In the sections that were present, Fox explained that “Map Designs” has maps designed for each chapter differently when they are completed. There were around six chapters in the Undertale playthrough we can expect the same from Deltarune.
Fox also said that Deltarune will have only one ending, unlike Undertale. He also remarked that parts of the game might vary a lot from what the playthrough is.

He also added that the characters in Undertale and the characters in Deltarune are very different from each other and that they belong to two different worlds.
