BitBox is an emerging software package that allows identification, reading and writing of internal flash memory within control units for various purposes.

Hardware-based protection uses a physical device, commonly known as a dongle, USB hardware key or USB security key. To implement, KEYLOK APIs are integrated with your software. Afterwards, the software only runs if the dongle is physically present on the computer or machine. Additionally, the dongle can also control how the end-user actually uses the software, referred to as software licensing.

The reflash software works with the ECU over CAN or K-line using the J2534 Tactrix Openport 2.0 interface.

The software packages are managed by a Senselock USB dongle protection system, all software modules can be activated on a single dongle. The program has a client-server architecture which needs to be connected to the Internet.
