I have a Speco D8RS and use Speco Multiclient. When viewing on a single channel it uses only 1/9 of the screen. Asked May 22, 2014 about SpecoTech Multi Client. SpecoTech Multi-Client Viewer Software is a multiple site monitoring client software that allows streaming of video and audio, and transmission of alarm signals from the NVRs over the network. The SpecoTech Multi-Client can display up to 16 NVRs and supports dual monitors. PTZ camera control is also supported by this software. Network accessible via SpecoTech Multi-Client Software, Secure Guard CMS, Internet Explorer Web-Viewer and Speco Player Mobile Viewer PC and MAC compatible Rack mountable (hardware included). UMS Multi Client (Client.exe). UMS Multi Client is a a free program designed to work with your DVR device. The program enables you to display the IP camera activity, make video recordings and playback recordings. You can also configure up to 16 channels and schedule alarms when motion is detected. About the Network Video Recorder

The full-featured 8-channel NVR makes it easy for installers to quickly setup a professional surveillance system. It features four 'EZ' functions:

• EZ Set-Up Wizards: One-click wizard guides you through basic system programming for the date/time, preferred recording method, video quality, preferred network, and port forwarding.
• EZ Camera: Automatically discovers and installs connected IP cameras.
• EZ Search: Allows you to quickly search through recorded events via thumbnails.
• EZ Copy: Auto-copy the video you are playing onto a USB flash drive.

The NVR has built-in PoE and supports UHD (3840 x 2160) recording and playback to accommodate the included HD IP cameras. It offers dual network ports, allowing you to isolate the IP camera network and remote network traffic. Built-in S.M.A.R.T. technology also provides self-monitoring, analysis and reporting technology for the NVR's hard disk drive (HDD).

Compatible with both PCs and Macs, the NVR is network accessible via SpecoTech Multi-Client Software, SecureGuard CMS, and/or the Speco Player Mobile Viewer.

The D4RS 4-Channel DVR from Speco Technologies is reliable Linux-based storage solution that meets the growing needs of demanding mission critical applications.
